Alexander Cooper Milardo - Pursuing Finance Degree
An aspiring financial services professional, Alexander Cooper Milardo has served as salvage operations manager for Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage, LLC since 2016. In this capacity, he helped to coordinate the salvage and recovery of more than 750 watercrafts damaged in Hurricanes Irma and Maria and to negotiate storage rates for more than a thousand boats in North America. Alexander Cooper Milardo also supported the recovery, repair, and sale of a motor vessel valued at $4 million.
As a graduate of the Taft School, Mr. Milardo is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in finance from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he has made the Dean’s list multiple times. To prepare for a career in finance, he participated in an internship with The Andriole Group, working with the equities team to analyze market trends and track performance measures. In addition to helping with the execution of more than $50 million in equity transactions, he gave a report on cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology as investment opportunities.
